32.5 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time plus 5 INSET days) MKET Support Staff Pay Scale 3 ranging from 3.3 (£20,706 FTE) to 3.6 (£22,317 FTE) dependent on experience.

Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch.

Heronsgate is a large key stage 2 junior school on the eastern flank of Milton Keynes and is one of the academies within the Milton Keynes Education Trust (MKET). We require an additional well-motivated learning support assistant specifically with proven experience of working with children with SEMH and behavioural difficulties.

The successful applicant will work 1:1 with named children allocated to them. They must be able to use their own initiative and follow a personalised curriculum. This will include a high degree of physical and practical activity, in conjunction with and under the supervision of, the class teacher and our Mental Health Lead.
