Permanent position starting as soon as possible

32.5 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time plus INSET days)

MKET Pay Scale 2 ranging from point 2 (£18,000 FTE) to point 4 (£19,500 FTE) dependant on experience.

Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday

Heronsgate is a large key stage 2 junior school on the eastern flank of Milton Keynes and is one of the academies within the Milton Keynes Education Trust (MKET). We require an additional teaching assistant to join us to work alongside our existing team.

In particular we are looking for a person with:

  • a genuine love of children
  • the desire to help the children achieve their full potential
  • the ability to work closely with a named child on a 1:1 basis

Duties will include:

  • leading intervention groups for maths, English, speech & language and guided reading
  • playground duty
  • lunchtime duty

Experience of working within an educational setting is essential.
